Woke up this morning to more ice...and another big one predicted for Friday...the thing that worries me is my one daughter is traveling here from michigan today to pick up my other daughter and my granddaughter J to go to Akron...J is a senior this year, and was excepted at Kent State, but has an audition for the Musical Theatre dept on friday...they won't be coming home until Sat. so I hope the worst is over...as a grandma, does worrying ever stop...4 to 7 inches with ice mixed in for this big one...all I can to is hope the weathermen are wrong...Pray, Pray, Pray.... The one blessing for me is that I didn't loose my power...people around here have been out since last Sun...OK, again I'm turning my mind off....it's off most of the time anyway...LOL

I never realized how much grandmothers worried. Mine was sort of in another world -- so I don't think she did.
But my mom surely did. And now I do.
Pam, I don't remember my grandma worrying either...but I'm sure she must have...I know my mom was a born worryier...that's why I try not to worry, but hey, easier said than done....LOL
p.s. daughter one arrived safely, and daughter 2 and jenson and her friend took off...so hopefully, all will be well...daughter one brought me two bottles of wine...hehe...and her hyper doggie. So let it snow....LOL
Your wintry themed photos are just beautiful! Worry goes hand in hand when you're a mama/gmama, doesn't it? It never ends, no matter how old "the kids" become. This is what my 93 yr. old mom says!
