The first time I went to Las Vegas I was in sparkle heaven...that's why I love Las Vegas so much, there is sparkle everywhere...We were on the train for two nights, there was 13 including me...the trip there was a laugh a minute, we each brought snacks and shared them...arriving at the train terminal was an eye opener...for little old me whose only sparkle enjoyment was sparkle tap shoes and fancy sparkle costumes...we stayed at the old Aladdin Hotel...we walked into a ceiling of sparkles...I thought it was the most beautiful place in the world...then we walked to other casinos...each one surpassed the other...I went for a visit after that almost every year...Jim never wanted to go, but never minded me going...I have gone with different friends, groups and sometimes just 2 of us...I haven't been there in probably 7, 8 or maybe 9 years...I can't remember, but I do remember the sparkle...time to go again...

My enjoyment of making bracelets out of Swarovski Crystal beads and earrings is I'm sure because of my love of sparkle...they are so beautiful...they are Austria Crystal, made at the Swarovski factory located in the Austrian Alps...that's the good Swarovski crystal bead...I just ordered some for ebay, really cheap...but guess where they come from? China...yes China, still called Swarovski crystal beads though...I don't care as long as they sparkle...I could always put them in a clear glass vase to watch them sparkle, or I'll just keep making up bracelets, and display them on a display rack that I have...sparkle, sparkle, sparkle...

Speaking of sparkle...isn't snow beautiful when it just falls down, and the sun is shining on it...it sparkles so brightly, like crystals...I'm going to have a lot of sparkles to look at with the "BIG ONE" arriving tonight...possible 12 to 14 inches of sparkle...God's homemade beauty....We are so lucky, for I'm sure those of you who have snow measured by the foot, think I'm nuts talking about "the BIG ONE" but that's what the weather man is calling it....I hope he is talking about snow....(sorry, just a little bit of nasty coming out of my mouth)

Judy, what a cool post!
It's snowing to beat the band today in NE Indiana, and I'm thinking that Toledo is getting their share as well.
Hope you go to Vegas again to relive those sparkle trips. It's time for another trip! Your memories are SO worth sharing with us. Thanks for letting us in on them! Hugs & stay warm!
Enjoyed the post Judy, hope the snow soon clears. As I am flying
over to Nashville next Thursday (10th) Hope there is no snow there.
Do you think you'll get back to Vegas? it's nice to think you will/
Yvonne.
Corgi.....and Yvonne.....
Thanks for stopping by...why is it when I can get out and go somewhere,I don't want too....but when I can't get out I do want too....LOL ...still sitting here waiting for the big one...I shoveled my drive, but you would never know it...so I check into the blog, or facebook, I've played games, I eaten snacks...I am quite antsi...what would I do if I lived where they had 3 ft or more. My daughter lives in Grandhaven mi. and she has over 3 feet and expecting more...yikes...and yes I hope to get back to Vegas..they have so many more casinos than the last time I was there...I'm going to come visit you guys now...judy
Hi I came over from Corgidogmama...read your comment on her last...made me laugh...and never say never...take it from someone that knows...looking forward to reading your previous and future posts...
Hi Judy!
I remember my first time going to LasVegas too - driving in from Utah... and it was night... and I saw a sea of gold sparkles! It was so beautiful!
I'm not much for glitter, but I love the sparkle of lights! I love the diamonds in the snow too!
Great post! I hope you do not get buried by the snow.
YOU opened an etsy shop!!! It is great! I love your photography! The little dog peeking thru the fence is soooo cute! I hope you do well on etsy... advertise! Tell the world! Tell your blogger buddies!
Smiles, Cat
It sounds like you must have had a great time in Vegas...I haven't been since they tore down all the old casinos and put up the new ones.
I'm sure it would seem very foreign to me now.
I do remember how exciting it was to see the lights the very first time we crested the hill overlooking the lights of Vegas...almost magical.
CITY GAL...thanks for stopping by, and your compliment...it's always fun to find a new blogger... judy
CAT...Seeing Vegas for the first time for anyone is rewarding, but for someone who never leaves the city, it was magical...I was on etsy before, and really didn't do that well, but I thought I'd stick to photo's and perhaps some cards. And I think it's all in how you present the item...with quirky titles, and close ups...if I don't sell any that's ok, sad, but I do it for my enjoyment...thanks for stopping by Cat.... judy
YVONNE...I think Vegas changes every year, and I'm sure I will be surprised at the change too...I am fascinated with the inside of casios...not much on gambling, but just looking is fun for me...thanks for stopping by.. judy
loved your sparkle post!
Many of us have memories that waft in through our nose (like the sparkle glue)
I'm so glad you have the snow and not me. Although I agree with you - there is nothing more lovely than the sparkle in the snow in the early morning sun
