A STAR IS BORN...grandma says so...

Front row...Forest who played Ryan and Jenson who played Sharpay....and number 14 the basketball player is my grandson Christopher...this was his first play, he is a jock for real...football, basketball and baseball....he shines in....but the music teacher ask him to fill in for the play....he is in 7th grade... Carly who played Ms. Darbus the teacher....and Jenson as Sharpay ***************************************** High School Musical.....my granddaughter played Sharpay....a sassy, bratty drama queen....and Jensi played it well....LOL...what a treat to be able to go to all three shows and watch her, and my grandson who was a fill in basketball player...number 14 in the top picture...this is Jensi 's last year for she goes on to college next year....majoring in Musical Theatre....as Sharpay, she was so funny...and her singing is perfect...but they had a live band playing down in front and sometimes they drowned out the voices....the first night it was awful...you could hardly hear them speak or sing...then they adjusted the what ever needed to be done....but their high school was blown away last June, so they are going to what they call the hanger...of course that could be because they are "the flyers"....a wonderful church called "Main Street" has a beautiful stage, with seating for 500...(which is where the play was held.) I heard them mention that they had 435 there on Friday night....it's was packed all three nights...great for a high school productions...Jenson is so dedicated to her music and her acting, that I can't imagine her doing anything else...and she is a pretty good dancer too... Sad it's over....can't wait to see her on Broadway....:)
