Last Sat. I went to my granddaughter Anna's dance recital....She did a good job, but it was tooooo long ...She was only in one routine...and I had no clue who the other kids were...I wasn't that happy with the dance studio....Oh the money they must rake in, costumes are like $60 & $70 ... some kids were it in about 6 times...can you imagine the money their parent put out for dance. They were wee ones who got on stage and watched what the person next to them was doing...it was quite funny...for they were like domino's....when you have about 20 little bitty ones up there...but usually there was one in the group that was the leader...LOL....and it was those little kids who performed in many dance routines......When I was that age and in dance recitals, my mom made every costume that I wore....and sparkled up my dance shoes with glitter...since I was a dancer at Annas age, I really looked forward to watching her....Good Job Anna....

How cute! She got flowers! I always look forward to watching So You Think You Can Dance when summer arrives! Needless to say, I'm already hooked on the show!
Lovely pictures Judy, your grandaughter looks very happy. I recall when my daughter was into all sorts of dancing, ballet, tap, and disco, many the time I was sewing sequins on costumes, Brought back happy memories.

ROSIE....that is one of my favorite shows too...can you believe how talented they are. 3 or 4 of the dancers from that show were chor...on the Dancing with the Stars show...well thanks for stopping by, and have a good summer...judy

Anna is a beautiful little girl. Her costume is very pretty too. I took tap for a short time when I was a kid but ended up wearing my tap shoes clunking up and down the sidewalk. At least mom know where we were! LOL
